Pre School, Home Schooled & Special Needs Thursday Craft Sessions

We will be running craft sessions at the gardens which will be suitable for pre-schoolers, home schooled & special needs children.

Botanic Gardens - Education Centre

Craft Class runs from Thursday 24th April 2008 - 26th June 2008

Places are available, so just call if you would like to join us this term.

2 sessions Every Thursday during term time 10 - 12 noon or 1pm - 3pm

Pre-booking is requested, drop in may be possible depending on uptake

Under 5's must be accompanied at all times.

min £8 per hr or £16 per 2hr session

Various craft projects will be worked on to develop craft techniques, painting & drawing skills

E.G.: Drawing techniques; Shape & colour awareness; ceramic painting;oragami;paper mache;Kite making;clay modelling;colour mixing;collage

After School Craft Classes

TAS have been running a great after school craft class at the Botanic Gardens for 3years.

For the Summer sessions we are delighted to be back at the gardens.

Botanic Gardens - Education Centre

Craft Class runs from Tuesday 22nd April 2008 - 24th June 2008 (10 week term)

Places are available, so just call if you would like to join us this term.

Every Tuesday during term time 4-5pm suitable for P1 - P6/7 (ability dependant)

Other venues and days/times are being considered let us know if you are interested.

Baby Footprints

Calling all new mums! 

Get your baby's tiny footprint captured as early as possible - they grow so fast, you can't believe they were ever that small.

The Art Shack is delighted to come along to you home, why not gather some of your new ante-natal friends for a coffee.

The glazed items are great as gifts for Granny, aunts, godparents, siblings etc.

You can choose from heart decorations, heart dishes, plates, mugs, tiles, picture frames, banks and more, as they can all capture those precious tootsies.

All paint washes off easily and is of course non-toxic.  Also discover how tickly your little ones feet are!

Out of School Clubs

TAS are providing craft sessions for After School Clubs throughout Angus & recently Dundee too.

Community Classes & Events

The Art Shack runs weekly ceramic painting/craft sessions at Linlathen House Care Home, Broughty Ferry & Lunan House, nr Arbroath. 

This has proved very theraputic for the residents, loads of fun and something to look forward to each week.

Even those with very restricted abilities have created pieces for themselves, friends & family to be proud of.

TAS would be delighted to attend any care facility in our area and provide similar, fulfilling activities on a regular or ad hoc basis.

Wedding Entertainment

The Art Shack can organise wedding entertainment for the children during speeches and photo shoots.

Take away the fear of the kids running riot or hearing things they shouldn't from the Best Man! 

We will provide games and activities (non messy!) to keep any age occupied.

FUNdraising Events

The Art Shack are delighted to support fund raising events.
